Hello, my name is Kevin James. I attended New College of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, learning about music history, performance, and composition. I also received a liberals arts education, studying subjects such as Latin, calculus, ecology, sociology, and philosophy.

After I graduated, I became involved in various professions, including organic gardening. I have travelled a bit, and I have visited many intentional communities throughout my travels.

I became a serious Christian just before I started composing Chamber Music 1. At that time, many things about me changed, including my taste in music and my goals, values, and principles in life. I learned how to synthesize music on my computer in college, and I still do that in my spare time.

I am an avid reader of the Bible, which has been my main inspiration in this work. I am also interested in other forms of art such as writing, drawing, and cooking. Yes, I consider cooking an art. :)
