Hello, and welcome to the release page for "Chamber Music", my first classical electronic music project. I'm Kevin James, the author of "Chamber Music". I've arranged a dialogue to explain the project, so read on to find out more. Or, if you like, click here to get the album right away.

Hey, check out my new music project, "Chamber Music". It's classical electronic music.
Classical electronic music? There's no such thing! They didn't have electronics back then. What is classical electronic music?
Well, it's not really classical music, but it's music composed in the tradition of Western classical music. And since I composed it on my computer, it's classical electronic music.
But electronic music and classical music don't go together. They live in separate worlds. They lead different lives. They don't talk to each other in the street.
Nonsense! Wendy Carlos combined the classical and electronic worlds of music wonderfully with "Switched-On Bach", electronic performances of Bach compositions.
Oh, is it like that, then? I've heard you listening to "Switched-On Bach". I like it. Well, let me hear some of your music.

Here it is. This is called "Composition 1 (Nehemiah 8) 'The Joy of the Lord Is Your Strength'. Not only that, but I've added some other songs to the playlist. Remember, this is a low-quality recording, but I offer high-quality mp3's on my website for download.

Hey, did you really make that? But what is "Nehemiah 8"? Isn't Nehemiah a book from the Bible?
Ah, good question. Yes, Nehemiah is a book from the Bible. Every composition on Chamber Music is based off of a passage in the Bible. In Composition 1, what you just heard, the composition expresses the joyful celebrations of the Jews returning from captivity as portrayed in Nehemiah 8.

Really? Tell me how to listen to more.

Remember, you can set your own price. "Chamber Music" has a total running time of over 73 minutes, so the recommended price is $10. I have also included some release notes. These include the track listing, notes about how "Chamber Music" was composed, and how each composition relates to the text. They come automatically with the download, but you can check them out separately here.
Listed below is every track on the album, where you can play a 30 second preview of each track. Just click on the little play button to the left of each track.
When you're ready, just click "choose a price", enter in the price you want to pay, and then click "add album to cart". Follow the instructions from there. Enjoy! :)
